Spring is a state of mind

Spring officially arrived this morning. Maybe it doesn't look or feel very spring-like where you are. That's OK. It's nice to have the warm temperatures, the final bit of snow melting away, the fresh smell in the air, the colorful flowers blooming, and the trees budding out. Those are the outward, visible signs of spring.

However, spring is state of mind also. In fact we didn't have to wait until today to begin our springtime attitude.

Spring is for new starts, optimism, new projects, and renewal. Spring is refreshing. It motivates us to formulate new ideas and strategies and to let go of old, tired ideas and beliefs.

Now we can have both - an official springtime on the calendar and a working springtime attitude in our minds and spirit.

Steve - I woke up this morning and it was snowing.  Luckily it did not stick.  I saw crocus coming out yesterday and I know Spring will be here soon. But Spring is also new beginning - changing our ways for better tomorrow.

Steve, I liked the nice cool air out and about here in Texas. Kind of did make me think of spring, not too cold, not too hot. Just very nice.

Spring is my favorite time of year!  A new beginning and the end to a long horrible, cold, snowy, icy winter in NH. LOVE SPRING.... Flowers, birds, chipmunks in the yard, warm sunny days, trees starting to get a bit of color longer days, wow... I must have died and gone to Heaven....

Steve:  Sadly, this year spring is coming with a nasty flu.  Just when it's nice and sunny outside, I'll be crashed on my sofa.

Steve, I am ready to start planting some flowers that will last into the fall but can't really do that until April 15th. This is the time that most threats of frost is over in our area....

Steve, as usual, you find a way to lift our spirits and for that I thank you.  I went and bought my lawn mower tune up kits today - almost time to get to mowing again.  Also picked up my script of Allegra!  Ah, allergies..

Teresa,

Glad you explained that about the frost - thought it might have something to do with tax day. :)

Tim and Pam,

Have a great spring. I don't like mowing that much, but the smell of freshly cut grass is nice. :)

So nice to have color popping out and green grass back. We're also reviving our business plan with a little more life and color.

Oh, yes...spring IS a state of mind.... I love what it represents....(to me) .... birth of something new...flowers, birdies and so forth. Sun, a light wind and everything wonderful and grand... thanks for the inspiration. :)

Steve....spring IS a state of mind and I have the fever!  I can't wait until our weather warms up more here, although we are looking forward to day time weather in the balmy 50's all next week in Northern Illinois!
