As the country makes Barack Obama's election official on Tuesday, let take this occasion to have our own personal inauguration day as well. Taking nothing away from the big, historic day in Washington, but with none of the fanfare, speeches, parades, and parties - just a personal, private celebratory recognition of the year ahead and our plans for it.
Let's inaugurate our business plans for the year. We've had a couple of weeks since the first of the year to try out our plans and tweak them. Now we can bless them, formally inaugurate them, and implement them.
Looking forward to a great 2009 with everyone!

Steve, A great way to look at our future as Realtors...
Paul,
Thank you. We need to look ahead and then act to achieve it. :)

Hi Steve

Great words of wisdom and encouragement.... something we all can use during times like this. Thanks Steve!!
Teresa,
We all need to unleash our strategies and attack our markets. Have a great year! :)

Great post - we are slowly introducing our new plans for 2009 - but I have a strong suspicion that we will get more done than Congress in 2009.
Hi Steve:
I'm looking forward to it.
Ryan,
I hope you get more done than Congress because I do want to see you succeed, and I don't want them to accomplish anything. :)
Steve
Toula,
Plan for a great year and then make it happen. :)
Steve
Steve - There is the old medical mantra "Do no harm." For Congress, maybe it should be "Do nothing." As this bail out shows, sometimes doing nothing would be better than passing a law that provides a handout with no oversight on how the funds are used.
Here's to the new year and to the successes we will hopefully be celebrating in our own personal business' and with our country!
God Bless America!!

What a great idea! I am always going to "Start Tomorrow", and "Tomorrow" is a GREAT START DATE!
Ryan,
I'm all for Congress doing nothing - possibly permanently. I'm sure we have enough laws already. :)
Steve
Nicole,
I hope that you've kicked off a great year and that it will be very successful for you. :)
Steve
Cheryl,
There's no time like the present to get get started, so here's to new beginnings. :)
