In South Florida, we have our own version of Fall. It began mid-late October.
As you can see from the photos, we have some leaves changing colors - nothing dramatic like some of the photos displayed from northern fall foliage - but color change nonetheless.

This just happens to coincide with another type of color change - the citrus is changing from green and lighter yellow to deep yellow and orange.
Lemons Tangerine

Oh, BTW it was in the high 70's today.
Happy Thanksgiving. We certainly are thankful for what we enjoy here.

Steve - Happy Thanksgiving! 70 degrees? It was a whopping 28 degrees here in Minnesota!
Hello Steve, so are you going to send us some fresh citrus?? Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Not 70 degrees here in Utah. However been mild weather for us and I'm loving it.
Happy Thanksgiving. Not much citrus growing in Denver, CO either.
Darla,
Have a great, restful holiday. Wish it could be warmer for you. :)
Steve
Julie,
I'd love to, but the it's all I can do to fend off the squirrels to get any to eat myself. :)
Steve
Mark,
It not supposed to be warm this time of year in Utah, is it? Glad it has been mild though. Have a great holiday. :)
Steve
Steven,
You mean that Orange Crush doesn't refer to the fruit? :)
Steve
You know Steve, with all the nigative things around us, there is so much for which we can all be grateful.
Thanks for a thoughtful pst
Bo

My pleasure. Have a great Thanksgiving Day and enjoy. :)
Steve

Ain't it great? Everyplace has something neat about it, but right now I'll take our temperatures. :)
Steve
Steve,
We had the leaves change a couple months back. Now they are all clogging our gutters.
Our leaves don't turn color :-(
Happy Thanksgiving, Steve! 70's sounds great to me too! Those are pretty pictures!
I am a big fan of Florida Citrus and had never really thought of Florida having much of a Fall season and I love tangerines!
I also dropped by to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!
Steven S.,
Well, I guess you can't have everything. You had the beautiful color. Happy Thanksgiving. :)
Steve
Richard,
Maybe not, but your beaches do - black sand. Happy Thanksgiving. :)
Steve
Loudes,
Thanks. We're really enjoying this weather. Happy Thanksgiving. :)
Steve
Russell,
We have a very long fall season. Technically I guess we have all 4 seasons but the winter is very short. Fall realistically extends from mid-October until March or so. :)
Steve
Steve, There is nothing like "fresh" fruit off the tree. I remember getting some really good lemons from my Dad's in Florida a few years back. Nice memory, thanks for bringing it back for me.
April,
They go pretty fast - between us and the squirrels, but they are good. Thanks. :)
Steve
Steve,
The squirrels? They like fruit? I thought they just went for nuts, acorns and of course the bird food!
April
April,
The squirrels, possums, raccoons - it's hard to tell, but these pictures are not posed:
Steve :)
Steve,
My "new" thing to learn today. That is really something. Thanks for sharing the photos!
