Is today a gamble or tribute to convenience?

Today is July 11th, a Friday. But said another way, today is 7/11 or 7-11. This makes it a day for gamblers or one for convenience store owners. I guess it's all in your perspective, but it sure is nice to have a convenience store handy when you need one - like when you need a soda or a coffee or a snack - at pretty much any hour of the day.

All I know is that everytime I write today's date, I think of the convenience store...  I  guess I like soda fountains and candy bars...  Have a Great Weekend!  :)

Debi,

That was the first thought I had about today's date as well. I thought of this blog first thing this morning but thought it was too corny. Then I published it anyway. Oh well. A great weekend to you also.

Steve...

I like numbers and I am always trying to see significance. Nest month we have 8-8-08.

Hi Steve,

Very creative and out of the box matching those numbers!  Thank You for your insight!

Richard,

I saw that, too. Isn't that something? Guess what "Pick-3" numbers many people will choose on that day.
