Beautiful South Florida day - and in July

I guess we all owe Al Gore a big thank-you for the great weather we've had this summer. It it weren't for global warming, we might not have the pleasant weather that we're enjoying and a cooler than normal summer. Except for a few bouts of high humidity and a couple of upper-ninety degree days, this has been a very mild summer - temperature-wise - here in South Florida.

The last couple of days were so pleasant with a delightful cool breeze that it made me want to open the windows - and it definitely does not seem like July.

Hey Steve,

Love the picture!! I guess in FL you have a lot of opportunities to click amazing sunsets....

The heat in North Carolina has been tollarable the past several days. We have had a lot of much needed rain too. Don't really want a drought like we had last summer......

Take care

Teresa,

Thanks. Glad you like the picture. We've had a lot of rain, too. Maybe that's what's been holding down the temps. But it's been quite pleasant. Seems like more people are getting rain this year which is good.

Steve, I love that picture.  Florida sunsets can be so beautiful.  Algore tends to forget that the earth goes through cycles of warming and cooling.  Ooops, there goes my common sense kicking in.  Have a great day.

Bob,

Thanks for stopping by. Of course your west coast (west coast of Florida for anyone else reading this) sunsets are so marvelous with the Gulf being there.

Debi,

Your're so right - no wonder he won the Noble prize. Actually, you had a similar post yesterday that kind of inspired mine. I was thinking about how nice the weather had been when I read yours - so thanks for the inspiration. :)
