Here in South Florida, red is a very predominant color that nature is flooding us with over the past few weeks. There are other brilliant colors of plants and flowers as well, but the red is so vibrant that I wanted to share a few with you. You might be familiar with these trees, or this might be new. Either way, it's red and it's pretty.
The weeping bottlebrush (wonder how it got it's name?)

Hi Steve, You're right. The colors are incredible. Nice camera work.
Bill, thank you. I guess these are nothing new to you. Ft. Myers has great landscapes.
Hi Steve ... gorgeous flowers ... thanks for sharing.
Great photos - thanks for sharing
Marie, thanks for viewing and for your comments. We definitely have vividly colored plants here.
Steve, these are great examples of God getting our attention every time we walk out a door. We don't have these flowers here but He always makes it where we can see Him if we look. So I look out side to see the Black Eyed Susans and know you are sharing Go's love across the country. Thanks for sending.
They are bigger now and are more beautiful than when this one was taken. God paints a different picture for us daily.
David, thanks for dropping by and sharing. Arizona has beautiful flowers also.
Wayne, you are so right. I love your Black-Eyed Susans and your spring pansies that are velvety. We say that it's nature's handiwork, but then many of us know Who created nature. Thanks.
These are some very vibrant and beautiful plants. I'm sure that you're camera didn't capture it enough, though! I always try to get the colors exactly right, but they never seem to capture as beautifully as God created them.
Jim & Maria, thanks for visting and sharing. You're right about the camera, although these are pretty close to what you see. Nothing can beat the eyes God has given us to see and interpret - and marvel - at His beautiful creation!
Those trees are all new to me. They are very beautiful. Great photos! :)
Debi, thanks for visiting, and I'm glad you like the photos. The trees are pretty, and the colors seem to last fairly long also.
That Royal Poinciana is my FAVORITE!! We have them all over my area of downtown Lake Worth and I can't help but comment on how beautiful the color is every time I pass one! Very nice shots the color in all three is so vibrant!
Thank you for sharing.
Thanks. we have 4 poincianas in our yard that bloom at different times from mid-May to mid-July. They are spectacular up close or even far away.
Steve: Thanks for sharing the lovely pictures. I wish I had anything blooming in my yard right now.
Chris, so glad you enjoyed the pictures. I'll add some others later. I'd mail you some flowers but don't think they'd travel very well. :)
