Well at least we have roads

We all tend to accept commuting and traffic delays as just a part of life.

However, the next time we're stuck in rush hour traffic and are tempted to grumble or get upset, let's just be thankful that we've got a freeway system.

In 1919, it took 62 days for the U.S. Army to move troops by road from Washington, DC to San Francisco. There was no road system.
