Blog right in, set write down

With apologies to the Rooftop Singers who had the hit "Walk Right In, Sit Right Down" it seemed fitting today just to encourage some of you who hadn't made the leap to your first blog or who weren't doing that much with it yet to just get started. Share some random thoughts.

I think the two biggest misconceptions are that your blog needs to be pithy and that it needs to be long. Short is fine - it's easier to read and to understand your message.

You can even be silly. Serious is OK, but light is great.

"Daddy, let your mind roll on..."  Such is the reason for blogging.  As the song says, and interpreting it for my uses, "Everybody's talkin' 'bout a new way of walking...
