Nice moon shot! Must have been a clear night night. See any spaceships or landers?
Wow! That is a spectacular shot of the full moon Steve.
We had a pretty good view of the moon last night too, mostly clear. It is amazing how light it is at night with a full moon.
Steve, I caught the moon last night. I am always drawn to a full moon or near full moon. Looks like we will see the full moon on the 9th. Beautiful photo!
Who says our space program is defunct. I love your Moon shots Steve!
Now that's a moon! Thanks Steve - have a lovely Sunday!
That's quite the moon shot, Steve! Did you use a tripod to capture it? I love the golden cast in this photo. So many of them are more silver!
Cool moon Steve! We came out of Church late yesterday afternoon, ran to the truck to grab the camera and missed the perfect shot! The full moon was outstanding as it rose over the amazing purple Sandia Mountain! Traffic was hectic and people wanted chit chat so we missed a shot that would knock your socks off.
Than,
Incredibly clear night. Thanks. :)
Steve
Wanda,
Thank you. Have a great week. :)
Steve
Catherine,
It is. It worked for centuries to create light at night. :)
Steve
Kathleen,
We usually get 4 or 5 nights of a basically full moon. :)
Steve
Paul,
Thank you. :)
Steve
Lisa,
Thank you. Have a fantastic week. :)
Steve
Myrl,
The coloring has to do with the exposure and rise from the horizon. The moon generally has a more golden - sometimes even orangish color - soon after it rises. :)
Steve
John,
It sounds like it. We have no mountains here. :)
Steve
Ah, Steve! This is the kind of moo tat Willie the Labradoodle bays at!
Gotta say....I love it. I lvoe the detail of it! Nothing short of awesome!!!
Pat,
Gotta love this moon. :)
Steve
Larry,
Thank you. :)
