Remember in the fifties when they used a shine colored lights on metal Christmas trees for contrast... My grandparents had one of these trees.
Wow Steve this is a brilliant black and white shot! Perfect Christmas card!
This is one of the best pictures I have ever seen you take! You should sell this one to a stock photo site.
Paul,
I do indeed. Thanks. :)
Steve

The light you captured is superb. Far more dramatic than it would have been in color. Amazing!
Beautiful picture. It should be in a magazine! The contrast is excellent.
This looks like it is more than just a black and white photo, what other ediring was involved Steve?
Unbelievable! Took me back to my days of youth! Although, back then you would have never captured the piercing background lighting with your degree of clarity. Thanks!
Marge,
I agree. Thank you. :)
Steve

Joanne,
That is nice to hear. Thank you. :)
Steve
Tom,
None. It is a white tree, and I chose a section that had the ornaments I wanted. :)
Steve
Wayne,
True, digital is great - never going back to film - although we had some really slow speeds that would give good detail. :)
Steve
Bruce,
Thank you. Very much appreciated. :)
