What a wonderful way to stay warm I love this time of year when we are able to enjoy the fire with the beauty it produces.

Good Morning Steve

Thanks for the post and photo. Its the kind of pic you can contemplate for hours. Have a great week.

Interesting shot. I would have never thought about taking a picture of a fire in black and white, but it certainly has a cool look because of it.

Good shot Steve.  I love fires!  We have gas FP but we can always step outside and fire up the fireplace for the sight, sound and smell of the real deal.  Very relaxing indeed.

Pat,

Campfires are neat in the summertime, too, but now we can really enjoy them. :)

Hi Steve,

I love black and white anything.....plus I think it stimulates your imagination a lot. Today, kids just see it all and never dream or imagine what it could be. I love TImeWarnerChannel and they show the old black and white movies. Great place to nest if it is pouring rain and cannot go outside.

John,

There is just something about a wood fire. :)

Steve,

This picture looks very interesting in black and white. Not something you expect to see with a picture of fire.

Hi Steve - It is amazing how those gas logs look so real.  I love ours.

Just when you think of progress being in color, you get a whole new perspective returning to black and white! Sometimes, I think of the good old days when life was so mich simpler. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your day!

Conrad,

Isn't that great? :)

Wayne,

That's why I enjoy watching a period movie from the late 1800s or early 1900s. :)

Hi Steve, A beautiful black and white photo of a fire.  I love a fire, especially when it is snowing...I just sit by the fireplace and watch it snow...one of my favorite things to do., Have a great Sunday!

LOL, good point! But, I guess that was before my time and I never really thought about it.

Todd,

Even the old B+W movies made accommodations in the wardrobes and sets for optimum grays and tonalities. :)

I love the black and white photo Steve!

I love to keep warm but in Delaware the weather has switched overnight. We have been in the 70's for the past 4 days and I love it :)

John,

It's been nice here, too, but it's supposed to get in the low 50s tonight. :)
