Ain't it the truth! However, I have noted a number of people moving away from Cable tv, and using antenna more. But none of the antennas have been giant things like that one.
You wouldn't catch me on that thing. I'd be afraid it had rusted and would fall over. Haven't seen an antenna that big in a long time.
I love my job, I love my job. Some folk really do work hard for a living.
I remember those days! I also remember aluminum foil on the "rabbit ears" and having to hold your foot and hands in a certain spot to get a good reception on the TV. Have a great day!
Steve is that a bird OR a man on that pole?
Oh no, Mryl said it first...isn't that the truth!
Myrl,
Haven't seen many antennas. :)
Steve
Kay,
Not too common. :)
Steve
Ellie,

I like that. Good one. :)

Steve, They are getting much more difficult to find now days!
One of my good friends was a ham radio operator for years until about 10 years ago when he fell and broke his back. I remember going over to their place during college and talking to people from all over. (It was so cool)
Many things that were a maistay in the past are disappearing from the current landscape. Enjoy your day!
Tony and Darcy,
Yes. :)
Steve
Todd,
Yes, had a friend in high school that did this. :)
Steve
Wayne,
Very true. Thanks. :)
Steve
Hi Steve,
I was wondering what that guy was doing. As I read down and found out he is putting up an antenna, I can't agree with you more. Looks like a scary job!
DeeDee,
Definitely different. Don't see much of this nowadays. :)
