Driving down the highway, I glanced this cow proving that the grass is greener on the other
side by sticking her head through the fence to stand on one side and graze on the other.

Good evening Steve, you caught a great shot and this cow is enjoying that greener grass. Enjoy your evening.
She may be enjoying the grazing but when she pulls her neck back through that fence I hope it is not barbed; even cows suffer consequences.
Howdy and evening Steve
Steve, you sure were at the right pace at the right time, to be able to take this mighty fine photo.
Have a good one
Dale in New Hampshire
That photo is a good catch, and you put the perfect title on it. It does pay to have your camera handy wherever you go.
Steve, do think animals actually prefer greener grass? It would make sense that darker grass has more nutrients. :)
Many tried to talk my wife out of moving from Alabama to Albuquerque saying "the grass is not always greener on the other side."
Her response I'm headed to the high desert there is no darn grass just rocks, sand and a few tumble weeds:)
I find it a little strange that the cow would stick its neck through the fence to eat grass while standing in grass.
Amusing Steve.
Hi Steve,
I love to ride in the car and watch for horses and cows on the side of the road. Great photo and it is something we should remember; The grass is not always greener on the other side. Of course it looks like your cow thinks it is!
Steve, I had to go back and look at the photo after reading the caption....great shot!
Good morning Steve.
It sure is greener on the other side...
Have a nice day.
Hi Steve - too funny.
Steve, how far west did you have to go to get this picture? Your part of the world is like an asphalt jungle! Enjoy your day!
Every time I hear this old saying I think of how much fertilizer it takes to keep some things green...
Judith,
One of those things that really catches your attention. :)
Steve

Steve
Human or animal it doesn't matter we all seem to want what we can't have.
Todd,
So true. :)
Steve
Some see grener pastures, I see steak! Lot of things you can say baout that...got to stick your neck out to get what you want!
Yup, that's what cows do... they always have to stick their necks into the next pasture and stretch the fence wire... very annoying to us farmers.
Gary,
That's right. Thanks. :)
Steve
Georgina,
Wonder why that is? :)
