The President says that he has a plan to create jobs in this country, which seems doubtful, but let's hear it. Might be a great plan. He says he reveal it to Congress when they return from their summer recess.
If it's such a great plan (which it must not be) he would be going on national TV now to tell us what it is and urging Congress to return to work now to act on it.
He had no trouble making over 1,000 speeches on his health care plan. Funny we're not hearing the same type of intensity on this.
Any plan the President has likely will cost us more money that we don't have, create more long-term government programs that will further exacerbate our economic condition, and do nothing to stimulate private sector job growth.
Funny that those who have not held a real job in years have taken it upon themselves to create private sector jobs. Of course, the answer is for them to get out of the way and rescind most of the regulations, taxes, and compliance that is choking American business.

It's easy to point fingers but what your recommendation for job creation?
Steve,
All I can do is agree with you and John!
Bill
John,
If he had any, he wouldn't be playing this type of charade. :)
Steve
Bill,
Thank you. :)
Steve
The plan is simple - more regulation to finally strangle the rest of the private sector job creating structure, and higher taxes on the rich. Get ready.
He has nothing and never has had anything!
John: Steve is not the president and HE isn't running around bragging about his job creation program that he will only disclose when Congress is back in session. If it was anything at all Obama would be giving it to his buddies in the media to sell for him.
Honestly, this is what I hear from liberals and the media (but I repeat myself) all the time. It is like the "I know you are but what am I" from kids. They can't think of anything to say so they try to divert it. In other words, he has no plan which is the same "plan" he had for the budget-------nothing! Show me your plan Mr Prez and then I will show you mine. The Republicans came up with numerous option and Obama nor the Democrats ever presented one. They just bad mouthed every Republican plan and used scare tactics and fear mongering.
I am waiting with baited beath for his wonderful idea on how to create jobs...am I turning blue yet?
Jay,
And another csar or two and a massive retraining budget - all for spending money with no net, sustainable jobs. :)
Steve
Than,
Any plan he has ever had cost far more in money and regulation than any benefit it could ever produce (health care, cap and trade, et al). He has no plan - not until his speechwriters give him one. :)
Steve
Virginia,
Go ahead and breathe. He has no plan - at least not one we can afford. :)
Steve
Tax breaks and incentives for businesses! I don't know about other states but in Oregon, we TAX THE CRAP out of businesses. Many have left and have gone to "tax friendlier" states. Unfortunate, as once that business uprooted, their current work force may, or may not have been able to move with them.
Karen,
Illinois and California, among others, are finding out what a horrible policy this is. :)
