Quite possibly today was the last Friday we'll have to drive home in the dark for a few months unless we are working past 8:00. Tomorrow night we set our clocks ahead an hour. So beginning Monday we will have more daylight at the end of our workday. By next Friday it will seem like its always been this way and we will have adjusted for the lost hour of sleep.
This is just one of the many changes signaling springtime. We've already had Madri Gras and Ash Wednesday. The time changes tomorrow night, the Big Dance starts next week, and the vernal equinox is a week from Sunday.
All signs point to spring.

Steve- almost forgot I have to spring forward. And with the Big Dance about to begin... life is grand.
Steve,
It always takes me way longer than a week to recover from the time change, and while you won't have to drive home in the dark, you will have to drive to work or take your morning run in the dark for a while. We've added about a month and a half to daylight savings time in the last 10 years, maybe it's time we just did away with the whole thing.
On the bright side, yes spring is on the way, the trees are leafing out, the air is warmer and all (except daylight savings time) is right with the world.
Tamara
Steve the only way is if you leave early and stay late could you enjoy driving in the dark:))).
Kathy,
And will all the colorful trees and flowers in bloom, life is good. :)
Steve
Tamara,
I agree. Do away will the whole thing but keep it daylight time the whole year. :)
Steve
Endre,
That happens. Enjoy the spring. :)

Steve - Looking forward to Spring and the beauty it brings, I'll gladly lose an hour of sleep in order to appreciate longer sunny days!
Isn't it great that the sun decides to come and go down as we wish.
Steve,
It always seems that once we change the clocks, it seems to speed up the nicer moe tolerable weather. However, ten years ago when first moved in our house, April 13, we had enough snow to cover the "dirt/mud" that is our septic system.
Hi Steve. It's spring time. I am loving the weather but not looking forward to springing my clock and watch ahead LOL Cheers.
No time change in AZ..... love that, it was always an adjustment for a few days living in CA!
Wanda,
More hours to get yardwork done. :)
Steve
David,
That's one way of looking at it. :)
Steve
Don,
I hope the warmer weather comes to you soon. :)
Steve
Lana,
Fortunately I have fewer clocks than I used to - the iPhone and computer are my major clocks now and they reset by themselves. :)
Steve
Teri,
So you can be the well-adjusted one while all of us have to get used to the new time. :)
