We're now out of the triple digits. Just 98 days from today - and counting - is November 2nd. This is the date of the mid-term elections and the time for Americans to put the brakes on reckless spending and regulation.
Any Member of Congress who wants to retain their job had better do a very good job of persuading us between now and then. Otherwise, it's "vote them all out."
We need a Congress that will stand up to the President and not continue to be essentially irrelevant.
We need a Coingress that not only knows how to read but will actually do it - the Constitution and every piece of legislation they consider.
We need single-issue bills. No more coattails. No more earmarks.
This is a very crucial election for stopping and beginning to reverse a very chaotic period of government.
Let's keep that tea kettle on the burner.

Steve, we have primary elections on Aug 3rd. Time to get out the vote.
I saw on the news tonight that 70+% of Republicans intend to vote in this next election and just over 40% of Democrats plan to vote. Hopefully we'll really get some change we need this time around.
Steve.. I hope voters take action this time and look at what is going on around us. Our primary is being held here on August 10th... I'm working it too.

I think the demagoguery between this November's election and 2012 will be such that the woodwork and Acorn followers will come out in force to try to save their Messiah. I don't think it will be enough.

I agree with Jay. I think this regime has disgusted so many Americans, even their illegal ACORN actions won't help them. Their only hope is that there are enough Black Panther thugs to stop enough of the voters from voting.

Nice post, Steve! I am an Arizonian and have never been so proud of our state and our Governor, Jan Brewer. Also, we have a very brave and outspoken sheriff in Maricopa County. Arizona is taking a strong stand against the Feds on the issue of the illegal problem in our state and in our country. I have been quite involved with the TEA Party activities in our area. We hope plan to get the RINOs out of power throughout our state. We are also working to wrest power from the libs all the way from school boards, county offices, state offices and US Congressmen.
Please work to get your own state to take a stand against illegals (notice that I did not add immigrants). This issue is a 10th ammendment and states' rights issue that goes way beyond SB 1070. It is time to take a stand against the destruction of the rule of law and the principles that made our country great.
