The Administration has a news embargo on the BP Gulf oil spill. Such a perfect example of the Administration's transparency. The site of the spill is off limits to reporters. All we can do it take their word for what is going on.
The press (who aren't allowed to visit the site or ask any serious questions about it) and the Administration still point fingers at BP for the slow response, but didn't the President say that nothing could be done by BP that he didn't approve or authorize?
Therefore, we can conclude that the situation exists because the President like it this way. Presumably to create a climate where he can push for a permanent ban on all offshore oil and gas exploration - like Charlie Crist is trying to do in Florida.
In this secretly shot video, look and listen at what is happening as of about 10 days ago and draw your own conclusions.

Each article, video, newscast, etc that I read/watch just makes me more and more angry. This is one heck of a situation! There is no telling what we can expect from BP or Pres Obama. Thanks for sharing this video. Just so disappointing.

Steve, where are all the libs yelling about obama suppressing the reporting of this disaster? Terribly quiet aren't they? Does freedom of speech only matter when it doesn't harm obama??
We all know obama is in BPs pocket. They've paid him off.

Extremely disturbing footage. So irresponsible and such a waste. If Obama had forgone a few parties and actually allowed experts to get on with the repair and clean up, this would have never gotten so far. A classic example of an executive who has no leadership skills whatsoever. 2012 cannot come soon enough.

As with any liberal cause, they don't really care about it other than using it for political gains.

Sea Shepard is usually not so emotional. This must be really bad. Maybe the ships were pulled due to the weather!

Micheal,
Maybe he can join the PGA tour in 2013. He's getting more golf in than leadership. :)

Steve one correction I know is the well site is only 52 miles from the coast of Louisiana I know, I have fished these areas. I don't really care for the sea Shepard's very much, way too liberal for me. I am surprised you used their video. I think you meant to show the spin our President is putting on the picture. Don't worry Steve I still love you man.

This is an obvious failure on multiple levels... BP failed. The government failed. The plans failed. The specs failed. But, still... the solution is NOT to just point fingers. It is to work on the problem.
Too bad the administration is all about laying blame rather than making things better.

Lane,
I am not a fan of mega companies, but it seems from what we can learn that MMS was the chief stopgap that failed to do their job. The rest dominoes from there. :)

I'm taking it that you're use of the word CONCLUDE is just that - a conclusion and not factual.
