You Know The President Is Messing Up When ...

You know the President is messing up when the cheerleader for the Democratic Party, James Carville, blasts his "lackadaisical" and "hands-offy" approach to the Gulf oil spill.

James didn't mince any words on a recent ABC interview with George Stephanapolous.

George said the President was going to be going to the area tday, but it's actually tomorrow that he'll be making just his second visit to the area since the exlosion and resulting oil spill.

This is a little longer video than I typically like to share (it's 5 minutes), but I think you'll enjoy James' energy and passion in speaking out on the weak Presidential response and lack of leadership.

I LOVE James Carville * he is so silly and his WIFE is so smart!!!  In today's press conference, Barry actually thought 2 weeks of studying was a good thing.....I see DEAD BIRDS with OIL on them in HIS future!!!

Fox slammed him this evening as well.  Greta made some excellent points.  This whole thing is such a tragedy.

So sad that it is a mile down so far. Why can't someone just invent another energy source for cars??? We are all in trouble if they can't get it fixed soon.

Wallace,

Things aren't boding well for him, apparently by his own choice. :)

Paula,

We knew he lacked leadership experience. This is when it really shows. :)

Bryan,

This is just one well, and gas and oil are fine energy sources. It's not so much the spill. It's how it happened and the lethargic response that's angering people. :)

To the average person one would think how can it takes so long but working at those depths the pressures have to be insane. The time for cure here is BEFORE it goes in but nothing is without chance of failure.

They got to him and he toned that down by the next morning.  But before they got to him he was saying it all!

I like the title...to that I would say 'Anytime he opens his mouth'.

I saw the rant by James. Then yesterday he recounted and blamed the "prior administration".

Steve,

It really sucks when you realize you supported the wrong dog in the race.

I just wish we would have had a presidential candidate that could step up to the plate and not be a hard line party line addict.  The major disasters the president needs to set everything aside and respond immediately, not worry about social functions and things happening elsewhere in this world.  He needs to deal with what is in front of us, facing a tremendous burden on the area that has already seen so much devastation.  He needs to be on his toes, not on his heels.

Randy,

That's right - there is a risk and a chance of failure. Where was Plan B on Day One? :)

Jay,

Obviously, we should take the uneditted version as expressing what he really feels. :)

Or when TOTUS fails him. :)

Missy,

He blamed them in one sentence in this interview, but that was overshadowed by his heaping criticism of the current President's mess. :)

Steve - a lot of libs are bailing on the president on this one, even Ms. Louisiana Purchase Landrieu, as well as the NYTimes. It appears that the great uniter is becoming a bigger divider than his predecessor.

I almost feel sorry for B. Hussein O. He's expected to do a job (presidency) that he's unqualified to do.

You're right, but remember that he wanted this and was given it. :)

I agree with Richard, what a waste of four years. No one could be this stupid, he needs new handlers or at least a new puppet master. I feel so decieved and ashamed.

Charles,

I think he is so committed to his ideology that nothing else matters. :)
