As of today, Election Day is 34 weeks away - 237 days.
The Republicans are starting to show some spirit in rejecting the Dems' posturing and gameplaying, but it likley is too late to stop the machine. Some deserve to stay on, some don't.
All 435 seats in the House are up for election and 36 seats in the Senate, and we've already seen some announcements of resignations and retirement. This makes our job easier because we are assure of some new faces in the Congress.
Many of those currently serving have violated the public trust and their oath of office by ignoring the will of the people and the Constitution. Those people need to be serving their final weeks in the Congress.
It would be great to have a clean slate, but that is impractical. For one thing, two-thirds of the Senate will continue on. For another, some are going to be returned to office no matter what. That still doesn't keep us from advancing the notion that we are tired of business as usual and if we had the power we would start over with 535 new faces.
Keep up the pressure my fellow patriots and free enterprisers.

I'm definitely in the"throw the bums out" camp. All of 'em.
The polls for Harry Reid are only getting worse in our neck of the woods. ;)
Sadly, obama does not get voted out until 2012. Too many are suffering the "CHANGE" and have lost "HOPE".
Merrill,
Thanks for your support. :)
Steve
Paul,
That would certainly be a good place to start. :)
Steve
John,
If we can change the Congress, we can tie his hands. :)
Steve
Steve,
All of these democrats backing the health care bill are going to be looking for a job come November:)
Mike,
I certainly hope that's the case. :)
Steve
Hopefully the message we send at election time will actually be heard by politicians.
You have to believe Americans are watching the antics in Washington very closely. If Nov turns out anything like VA,NJ and MA, the moving companies will make a fortune. Too bad they can't stop at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave at the same time.
Jon,
You really would like to think so, wouldn't you? :)
Steve
Bonnie,
That would be a great move. Maybe time to buy stock in one of the major movers. :)
Steve
Steve, I have and will continue to take the time to look at all of the votes, campaign contributions, associations, etc.. of my local and state candidates and incumbents. For sure, I will vote against some of the same ones I voted for previously.
Dale,
Times change, and some of them don't. Good attitude. :)
