After yesterday's very entertaining extended photo op for the President and his closest supporters from Congress - I know there were some Republicans there, too, as foils - it's clear that we have a new brand of bipartisanship in Washington - the President and those who agree with everything he wants.
Fortunately this doesn't seem to be enough to get health care and cap and trade passed, but the so-called "jobs" bill is moving forward.
I'm looking forward to November 2nd - now just 248 days away. Then we'll see another definition of bipartisanship - those who being ignored now who will be calling the shots and all the rest (currently the only ones that seem to matter).

Steve I agree with you about Nov 2nd. It will be extremely interesting to see what kind of message the American people send.
I too am counting down to days. And frankly I don't think there is single incumbent I'll be voting for in November.
I really wanted to see the "photo op". I didn't read anything about it today either. Will have to catch the evening news to see how they analyzed it. yes the fall elections will be interesting.
Steve
November 2th can't come fast enough.
Good luck and success.

Obama thinks that bi-Partisanship is when both sides blindly follw him...
Douglas,
As long as the people who care turn out to vote. :)
Steve
Tammy,
I'm counting on Ed Lynch winning on April 13th then I can vote for him in Novemeber. :)
Steve
Connie,
Obama was given accolades for his handling of the pesky Republicans, and the Dems declared victory. :)
Steve
Lou,
We have to keep thinking that. :)
Steve
November can not come soon enough * the runup to the election in my area will be ENLIGHTENING * we now have 7 GOP candidates vying for VA's 5th Congressional seat
Lane,
I agree. He only wants to get his way. :)
Steve
Wallace,
If they're good maybe some of them should move to some other districts. :)
Steve
Pundits looked upon the last election as a real watershed to watch, next one will be at least as interesting.
Steve,
Because of the autocratic way Obama (with enabling from Pelosi and Reid) is leading the country, the 2010 elections - now just 247 days away - will be the most important in recent memory. :)
Steve
Bipartisanship has been redefined by the mainstream propaganda media over the past decade. It means moderate politicians selling out their principles to agree with the leftist agenda.
Jon,
That's certainly comforting. :)
Steve
I "Deem" that there will be a major upheaval in November. Hopefully there will not be too much damage done. I am waiting to see how the 1 billion dollar stimulus package is working.
Robert,
Thanks. Keep waiting on that simulus. It can't work. :)
