Overcast Skies Can Clear

This morning, the skies were completely overcast. It began to get brighter and then went back to the gray. This repeated several times. Now, it is clearing and is a beautiful sunny day.

How many times in our lives do we face something gloomy and allow that to "cloud" our thinking and feel that the sun is not going to come back out for us?

Today is proof that the sun can come out even when it appears extremely unlikely.

Hi Steve,

I sympathize! The weather is the same here on the other side of the country! Clouds are covering up the sun completely!

I hope you'll remember me if you learn of anyone moving to "The OC" and I will do the same!

Best regards.

Steve,

What a great analogy.  I need to remember that just like Little Orphan Annie sang, "The sun will come out tomorrow."

Steve,

This is a wonderful analogy.  As they also say "every cloud has a silver lining".

Best wishes

It is our response to the grey that propels us in life, or, holds us back.    We are the key.

We are having the same weather this morning too.  Life is all about keeping your perspective and no matter what gets thrown at you, just adjust and make the best of it.

Michael,

But that's the point. The weather and our mood can change. :)

Good thought. We have a tendency to look at the darkest clouds, never looking to the clearing on the horizon.

Great analogy Steve! Never looked at it that way. The sun does always come back out even if it takes awhile.  After a terrible storm including tornadoes the other night, the next day the sun shone beautifully.  Hope you have a sun filled day tomorrow!

We've got to remember that after those dark clouds move out we can have some smooth sailing.
