This morning, the skies were completely overcast. It began to get brighter and then went back to the gray. This repeated several times. Now, it is clearing and is a beautiful sunny day.
How many times in our lives do we face something gloomy and allow that to "cloud" our thinking and feel that the sun is not going to come back out for us?
Today is proof that the sun can come out even when it appears extremely unlikely.

Hi Steve,
I sympathize! The weather is the same here on the other side of the country! Clouds are covering up the sun completely!
I hope you'll remember me if you learn of anyone moving to "The OC" and I will do the same!
Best regards.

Steve,
What a great analogy. I need to remember that just like Little Orphan Annie sang, "The sun will come out tomorrow."
Steve,
This is a wonderful analogy. As they also say "every cloud has a silver lining".
Best wishes
Sharon
It is our response to the grey that propels us in life, or, holds us back. We are the key.
We are having the same weather this morning too. Life is all about keeping your perspective and no matter what gets thrown at you, just adjust and make the best of it.
Michael,
But that's the point. The weather and our mood can change. :)
Steve
Sybil,
Thank you. The sun does indeed come and and warm us up. :)
Steve
Sharon,
Thanks. A silver lining is a great way to look at it. :)
Steve
Li,
Fantastic response. Thank you for those great comments. :)
Steve
Pat,
Great perspective and comments. Thank you for the visit. :)

Hi Steve
So true all clouds will pass.
Good luck and success.

Good thought. We have a tendency to look at the darkest clouds, never looking to the clearing on the horizon.
Great analogy Steve! Never looked at it that way. The sun does always come back out even if it takes awhile. After a terrible storm including tornadoes the other night, the next day the sun shone beautifully. Hope you have a sun filled day tomorrow!
We've got to remember that after those dark clouds move out we can have some smooth sailing.
I hope your weather improves my friend!
Just a thought this Saturday,
Paul
Lou,
They do indeed pass. No matter how stormy it seems, the sun will come out. :)
Steve
Gary,
Thanks. Good to hear your take on this theme. :)
Steve
Al and Peggy,
Thanks. The clouds sometimes take over and we have to look past them. :)
Steve
Lee and Carol,
That's right. Clear skies are a refrehing sight after the clouds. :)
Steve
Paul,
Cloudy weather makes the sunny skies seem even sweeter. :)
