It's back!! NFL football.
Training camps across the country are open and getting down to business. The pads have come out. The hitting has begun.
Time to begin finding out which rookies might have the right stuff to make the team and contribute. Time to begin assessing where the season might go.
Right now, every team has the same unblemished record. We'll see how long any team can make that claim.
For now, the wait is over, Football is back.

You're right......its almost here! I live in Alabama, and here college football rocks everybody's world, but I really prefer pro ball.
Ann,
You are so right about 'Bama football. It does cover the whole state. :)
Steve
Steve - Living in AZ, we now have a team where we have high expectations. It was a wonderful season for us last year, and many are hoping we can build on that success for this year. Can't wait for the season to start - Go Cards!
Steve - I am so excited I can hardly stand it!!!! This is my FAVORITE time of year and I an ready to get it started!
Troy,
You definitely have a team - not to mention a great stadium. :)
Steve
Leesa,
And you are living in such a football area - college and pro. :)
Steve
Steve,
The Dallas Cowboys are holding their training camp in San Antonio this year. This is about as close as I will get to live professional football this year. Just watch it on the tube.
I can almost hear my son said the same thing - "Are you ready for some football?" I heard that all the time when he was still living with us. He is an ardent Cowboy fan.
I can't wait...Football at least 4 or 5 days a week on the tube!
Wayne,
The Cowboys certainly have a lot of support around the country. :)
Steve
Rosalinda,
What's with all this Cowboys stuff? Go Bears - and now with a quarterback! :)
Steve
Gary,
On some Saturdays in October you can watch over a dozen different games - without evene having any of the premium channels. :)
Steve
Steve, YES! Bring on the football! GO BRONCOS! Woo-hoo! Woop-woop-woop! Thanks for spreading the great news!
Wanda,
I really have to thank you guys for letting us have Jay. Kyle will do well for you, but this could be a good Bears season. :)
Steve
Cardinals had 12,000 people in Flagstaff yesterday for their Red and White scrimmage. Definitely a buzz for the Cards this year.
Brian,
A lot of people are expecting good things from your team this year. :)
Steve
Someone has to represent the Chicago Bears here! We picked up Jay Cutler in the off-season and are building on our improved running game from last year with an improved offensive line and a healthy Kevin Jones to run beside Matt Forte! It is going to be a very competative NFC North this year and a very good year to be a Bears fan. BEAR DOWN CHICAGO BEARS!!!
Ian,
Got that right. Hester is stepping up along with Olsen. Could be a verrrry good year. Go Bears! :)
Steve
Yes, it's that time year again! Woo Hoo!! I'm a Cowboys fan so just hoping Tony Romo can keep his mind on the job. The job of QB that is!!! Think things may be a bit easier in the locker room without TO too.
Now what on earth is Brett Favre up to??? He can't be serious...can he????
See Michael Vicks played for the Eagles yesterday!! I guess he did the crime and did the time so we can move on now?? Well...........
Steve,
You buys have it all wrong. It's the cheerleaders that rock, especially Dallas.
Steve,
Brett Favre has proven that you can't believe a thing he says in the off-season. Look for him to play anoither 20 or 30 years. :)
Steve
Steve,
Michael Vick may be as sorry as he can be, but he has no place in football. Poor decision to allow him back. :)
Steve
Terry,
What's with all this with Dallas? There are 31 other teams in the league. :)
