Where's it going to end? The bailouts, the handouts, the free lunches?
Better yet, is there anyway we can get in line?
Actually I'm not really interested in any government bailout because this is just not the way to help our economy. If the Treasury wants to give every citizen a few thousands dollars and then forget about their ideas for the stimulus or bailout plans, I might be interested in that. Otherwise, no. Besides, I think we're a little late for this discussion.
After the banks got their TARP money - which many of them didn't want but were forced to accept and still others who want even more money - life insurance companies are getting in line with their hands out.
Get this. Behind them are the likes of BMW, Harley Davidson, Nordstrom, Target, and Home Depot.
Where is this going to end? After the country is totally broke?

It's gone on for so long with so much money, I just cannot any longer figure it.
What on earth are they doing???
Hi Steve, This is pretty crazy-making, isn't it? Where will it all end...
I don't think congress has any idea, and so they throw money at it to make it look like they are doing something!
Lenn,
It is so incredible. No one in the government seems to be able to say "no!" :)
Steve
If anyone knows when it will end we would all like to know... The money given at the top has been crazy... they would have been better off giving to all the tax payers ...
Shirley,
It beginning to look like it won't end until we take our country back. :)
Steve
William,
I think you're right, and a Congress of all new people would be nice. :)
Steve
Caron,
Absolutely, but now they messed it so bad that it's too late for that. :)
Steve
Steve - hoping it ends sooner rather than later. It makes me cringe to know that my children's children's children will be paying off for our current conditions and our government just throwing as much money without regard to what will ACTUALLY work!
Steve, it when end when the Revolution starts. It is slowly and surely touching everyones life in some way and when the working class realizes that they can't make anymore money to give to the freeloaders they will take action. The trough feeders will not fight be they are too lazy to work let alone fight.
Steve - I think the bailouts have been an exceptionally bitter pill to swallow. In this country the banking and financial special interests have their lobbyists to yang the chains of the politicians to get what they want. Unfortunately 95% of Americans shuffling around this country have no one to express a voice on their behalf.
Jessica,
I just don't think the government people "get it." They have no concept of consequences. :)
Steve
Charles,
One week from today - tea parties everywhere. Congress had better start waking up. :)
Steve
I'm going to Mexico to get a job. I hear they're hiring...
Tim, who's only half joking
Myrl,
Find a tea party to attend next Wednesday. :)
Steve
I think it will end it with government invovlment in more companies and coporations than we can imagine.
Steve,
The whole system has to change and it will-just watch.

Except to the American home owner who have lost their equity, their homes, their retirement and their hope.
The American home owner doesn't send those nice fat PAC checks.
Justin,
We, as concerned Americans, cannot let that happen. :)
Steve
Lenn,
You're right on top of this. We need to say "no" to Congress by voting nearly all of them out of office. :)
Steve
Tim,
I could tell that there was some truth in there. :)
Steve
Terry,
Nothing's going to change - in a positive direction - withoiur our help. :)
Steve
Steve - I think Justin is right, but I hope he's wrong... :)
Hi Steve
Soon there will be so many people in line that soon there will be no one left to give out the hand outs. There is no free lunch.
Good Luck and success
Lou Ludwig
Debi,
We just can't let that happen. They work for us and we must not forget that! :)
Steve
Lou,
Wow, that is a very graphic and disturbing picture you suggest. :)
Steve
Steve: It is frustrating. First, you get big businesses with no accountability and poor customer service. Second, they make bad decisions. Third, we are told they are too big to let fail and we get to finance their folly with our taxpayer money. I don't get it - plus the bill is going to become due on the bailout at some point and it is the individual taxpayer is going to get soaked.
Ryan,
Totally agree. We need to take back Congress and throw the scoundrels out. Get to a Tea Party on Wednesday to learn more. :)
