Bye-bye Microsoft keyboard

You may recall that I bought a new computer keyboard a few days ago and commented about my exploits in adjusting to it. That was just under 2 weeks ago on Friday, June 27th. What you don't know is that this keyboard broke is less than 24 hours of use. Several of the keys just stopped working.

So I took it back and exchanged it for another - no problem - that is until today. Actually I've noticed several mistakes in my comments the past couple of days, and I just chalked that up to typing too fast. Then today it became apparent that the keyboard was randomly omitting letters and spaces that I was typing.

So I packed it up and once again took it back. This was the Microsoft 1000 optical wireless keyboard and mouse. Based on my experiences, I don't recommend anyone buy it or that it remain on any retail shelves. Time for a recall!

Anyway, I now have a Logitech LX 710 laser keyboard and mouse. I hope this is the last time we'll be talking about this - but one never knows.

Three keyboards (counting my new Logitech) within 2 weeks is a little much.
