Did you know that there is a world championship for yo-yos? I mean world as is 18 countries - or more?
I'm staying in the same hotel in Orlando where this is happening this weekend, and I have never seen so many young people (mostly) walking, talking, gathering, standing around, eating, and dancing - all with yo-yos going in various directions - and all under control.
In days gone by, if I could get the yo-yo to go to the end of the string and come back 2 or 3 times I was satisfied.
I am seeing people with as many as 2 yo-yos (one in each hand) going different directions, intersecting, and continuing the tricks, I have seen people practicing their choreography while spinning their yo-yos.
I have to admit, this is pretty neat. You have to applaud this kind of skill.
