Congratulations Jimmie Johnson and the Lowe's 48 team - and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. for getting Jiimie across the finish line first - at today's Aaron's 499 at Talladega race.
Jimmie edged out Clint Bowyer at the line by .002 (two-thousandths of a second)!!! That is incedible. Jimmie came from 5th place not that far from the finish line in order to win - his first victory of the season.
In all, 3 Hendrick cars finished in the top 4 places after starting the race in the top four spots. Johnson was first, Jeff Gordon was third, and Earnhardt was 4th. Mark Martin, the other Hendrick driver, finished in eigth place.
In addition to a great race, teo things to take away: the margin of victory can be extremely slim, and don't stop until you cross the finish line.
