Sunday night offers a blank slate

I really like Sunday night because the whole week - until next Sunday night - is a blank slate. I get to plan out what I'd like to do on my slate.

I may have appointments already set or I may have work in progress with pending deadlines. So maybe it's not totally blank.

Still, having an essentially blank slate is exciting and empowering.

I can choose how busy I want to be or how many calls to make. I can connect with old friends or business associates. A lunch or a coffee. Who knows how many new people will come into my life this coming week?

I wonder how many presentations I'll get to make. Some I'm planning for. Some I know will happen as the week unfolds.

Need to plan some time for reading and professional growth.

Of course, I can't plan for every eventuality. Things may happen that I hadn't counted on.

Still, I can plan my week and then set in motion the energy to achieve my plan.

At the top of each day - though not always the first thing accomplished - is my daily visit to Active Rain.

This is going to be a really good week - I can just feel it.
