What an impact Walt Disney World has had on Florida. I wonder if Walt Disney had this grand vision in mind when it opened 40 years ago? There's a good chance he did.
In a report relased this week that was commissioned by the resort, Walt Disney World and its subsidiaries account for 1 job out of every 50 in the State of Florida.
It makes up 2½% of the State's GDP, generating some $18.2 billion a year.
Nothing funny about that.
