Not only do we have the best fighting force in the world and the best values and freedoms worth fighting for, but the armed services announced today that each branch had met its recruitment goal for 2009. Not only that, but the quality of the new recruits was reported to be exceptional - over 96% were high school graduates.
For the first time since the all-volunteer service started in 1973 - over a third of a century ago - all the branches achieved their goals.
This is a proud day for America.
