Notice how game shows - and lotto's - have distorted the value of money?
Remember when a game show prize of $10,000 was a huge amount of money? Now you can go on "Millionaire" and almost be guaranteed $32,000. Go on "Family Feud' for a chance to win a paltry $20,000. Answer question after question and throw in a little luck on "Jeopardy!" and you'll be doing good to win more than $10,000.
Go on "Deal or No Deal" and scoff at the banker's offer of $97,000. Go on "Smarter than a 5th Grader" and make $25,000 basically for showing up.
Is it any wonder kids won't work at McDonald's for $7.00 an hour when there's all these riches to be had out there?
