"Law & Order" And The Real Estate Transaction

The TV show "Law & Order" has been on for many years with a very successful premise. In the one-hour format, they have a crime committed (sometimes we see it and sometimes we don't), then they have the investigation leading up to the arrest of the suspects, a trial, and a disposition of the case. It's a condensed version of weeks of police and judicial work in a tidy little one-hour package.

What if we could do a real estate transaction in the same way? Meet the customer, show them the properties, get them to agree on one they want, make the offer, get the financing approved, have them close on it, and move in, and get paid - all within an hour? May a special 2-hour version for really complex situations?

Wouldn't that be something?
