Borrowing from the expression of "be careful what you wish for," I find myself needing to be careful what I post.
Earlier today, I posted a "Motivational Monday" post called "On Fire!" How did I know that today would turn out to be one of the hottest days in our area - ever?
Officially, at the Airport the high temperature today was 96. Many areas had temperatures of 101 and 102. Vero Beach hit an all-time record of 101 - the hottest temperature ever recorded for any day. Okeechobee had a heat index of 126 this afternoon.
The temperature in the shade just outside my office peaked at 100.0 at about 4:30. Fortunately the humidity levels have been manageable today.
And summer just started!

I will have to choose my blog titiles more carefully if there are any weather implications involved.
