"Summer Selling Season" To End

The "Summer Selling Season" has been alive and well for the past 2-months. This is an annual event that occurs from July 5th until Labor Day. Today is the last day of the Season.

During this 2-month window, there are no holidays, no home decorating, no costume design or outfitting, no gift buying, no baking, no getting ready for that next big event. Maybe a vacation or getting kids ready for school - but this doesn't have the all-consuming focus (for us or our customers) that the major holiday celebrations do.

At any rate, it's been a fantastic Season with a lot of good results being reported. However, we are not done. What we have created during the Season is momentum to carry us into the "Fall Campaign" that gets underway tomorrow.

What A Time To Act

From now until Labor Day - exactly 2 months away - there are no other holidays or major observances on the calendar.

This doesn't happen very often during the year when we go for more than a month without a holiday that we observe or celebrate.

Oh, there might be a family vacation - and there's the start of football season and back to school. Those don't count.

We need to extremely focused on using these next 2 months to the best advantage possible. Our customers are not going to have as many excuses for waiting.

Let's gear up for the summer selling season which is now officially open.
