Depending on how you want to look at it, summer arrives tonight, during the night, or very early tomorrow morning (1:45).
Regardless, it won't suddenly do anything different weatherwise. It's still going to be hot here in Florida, much of the Southeast, and the desert Southwest.
The springtime tornadoes and storms will give way to summer tornadoes and storms - and tropical disturbances.
Mostly, it's just going to continue doing what it's been doing the past few weeks, but the calendar will now say summer instead of spring.
I hear that some areas are actually expectly cooler than normal temparatures this summer.
Regardless, the official start of summer means two things. School will start again a few weeks - and so will football!
