Today, Starbucks rolled out and started serving its "Trenta" sized iced coffee and iced tea in limited markets. The drink is 31 ounces - not sure why it didn't make it to a full quart (the size of McDonald's competitive $1 sweet iced tea). So when the Venti isn't enough, you can now jump start your caffeine fix all at once with a Trenta.
Announced a few days ago, it's now available in 14 states, including Florida, Georgia, Virginia, Texas, Hawaii, and Arizona. California starts February 1st.
Interesting to see how it is accepted and what kind of a market share it can produce.
This comes right after Starbucks announced that it is removing the lettering from its logo.
