Support A 'No' Vote

Today. lawmakers in Congress are voting on another 3-week continuing resolution to keep the governmnet going, but at least 175 House members are saying they will not supoport it if it just has the window-dressing cuts of $6 billion.

I agree. We need serious cuts.

The Persident said he eagerly awaits the stopgap measure and will sign it into law. Of course, he gets to keep spending at last year's budget approval without the risk or scrutiny. Only a few expiring programs or unfunded earmarks would be cut as the measure now sits.

It's time to take a page from the NFL and lockout the government workers until Congress dramatically, seriously, and sacrificially cuts spending.

We can send tens of thousands of bureaucrats to the unemployment office and mothball dozens of buildings in DC because money is being spent needlessly on mostly make work and busy work activities. We can do without their services and expense.

Join me in calling Congress and urge no passage of this measure.
