Did you know that you can get through life without wearing a watch? I'm not saying that time is not important or that knowing approximately what time it is not necessary. How would we keep appointment without knowing what time it is?
All I'm saying is that you can make it through life without a wristwatch. I have for years. I have several in the drawer, but that's usually where they stay.
First, my cell phone has a clock on it. Before that there was the PDA. Before that there was the time and temperature number that you could call.
When I'm out in public, there often is a TV that displays the time in the corner of the screen. There are many public clocks as well, and most cars have clocks in them.
And who would refuse to tell someone else the time when they asked?
Don’t have a watch? No problem, you’ll do just fine.
