Anyone who's been selling real estate for a while may tend to think of real estate flyers as a photocopy or quick-print that we runoff and distribute or have available for the taking at an open house or kiosk. Over the years, black ink on white paper or colored ink on white paper moved into black ink on colored paper and a colored headline or accented text on white paper. Now we have a full color laser printer or a high quality inkjet printer to produce, on an as-needed basis, 4-color photo-quality handouts in one page or multiple pages, a tri fold, a brochure, or full size 4-panel piece on ledger paper. We've come a long way.
We aren't just limited to paper. We can print on DVDs and CDs and use them as our flyers and brochures.
We can print on tiles and lumber.
We can print on t-shirts, ballons, frisbees, and cereal boxes.
We can even "print" by using blogs, slideshows, podcast messages, blogtalkradio, youtube videos, and PURLs.
We can project our messages as holgrams.
Flyers - while not intended for a long shelf life - can be used very creatively. They don't always have to be something that is held in the hand.
