QR Codes For Trade Shows

Many people use QR codes on the flyers and signage for directing people to more information about their listings. This is great and a very good application of the QR codes.

Even though you have to pick text, URL, email, phone, photo, or video when you create your QR code. some scanners will display the hot link when URLs are presented as text while others will only read in a single dimension.

You never know what scanner the public will use at any given time, but there's a good chance that text will display as both text and links. This gives you far more flexibility over just the link.

Here's a business card that I use at book signings and trade shows as a takeaway or insttant reference. It takes people to my main book page, and from there they explore individual titles and actually ordfer them.
