This week, the Florida Home Builders Asssociation held their spring conference in Tallahassee, and in conjunction with that the Sales & Marketing Council (FSMC) held a roundtable for attendees about some of the many services available around the state through the FSMC. As a Trustee, I participated in the forum, as did fellow Active Rainers Lou Ludwig and Melissa Stockstill, among others.
Many topics were presented, such as professional development, relationships between builders and Realtors, educational opportunities, social media, websites, and blogging. I led the discussion on educational opportunities, social media, and blogging. These topics always create quite a bit of interest.
Lou Ludwig (pictured below) talked about his experiences in working with Realtors around the state and how that translates into programs that the FSMC might offer at the local or regional level within the state to improve relationships, professionalism, and communication between the Realtor community and home builders.
