So much for President Obama rearranging his scheduling and dropping everything to go to Denmark to win the Olympic bid for his friends in Chicago. Chicago finished 4th out of 4 - ousted on the initial vote. (Brazil eventually won.)
This was not a diplomatic mission, a military meeting, or one to engage our allies, but we paid for it anyway.
So many issues could have been at the top of the President's agenda yesterday, but he put all of that aside to lobby for his hometown. Seems like there were more pressing issues that he could have been working on.
