"A" For Effort, "F" For Concept

You have to admire the President's all-out commitment to get health care legislation passed - legislation that he campaigned for on a made-up insurance crisis. He has been both tireless and endless. Over a speech a day on health care somewhere in this country since he took office. He gets an "A" for persistence and perseverence.

However, he gets an "F" on concept - only because that is the commonly acepted lowest grade to award.

The American people have spoken repeatedly that this is not what they want. In fact. they didn't even know that we had a health insurance crisis until Obama invented it during the campaign.

So, Pelosi and her gang got hold of this concept and passed a 2,000 page bill that few to this day have read. Then, Reid took the handoff and passed an even worse bill by making illegal concessions to buy the votes to get it passed without a vote to spare. Both bills were languishing - fortunately for us - and it looked like it might die.

But here comes the President to save the day. He has proposed a bill that squarely puts the government in charge - the most unfavorable aspect of any of the debate so far.

Not only do the leaders of Congress and the President fail to listen to the American people, they go right out and antagonize us.

November 2nd is coming - now just 253 days away.

All I can say is (1) this is totally unconstitutional on its face and needs to stop based soley on this, (2) if that's not enough, there's no way any government proposal can be funded with current revenues, and (3) this is all moot because the first order of the Republican Congress in January, 2011 will be to repeal and revoke anything that is passed.
