You probably remember reading, or at least hearing about, Dale Carnegie's best-seller "How To Win Friends And Influence People." Great book. I think we should send a copy to the President.
Let me put it this way. Which of us would have a friend - supposedly a very dear friend and ally - from several thousand miles away, travel at great expense to come visit us, and after meeting with them in the afternoon, just get up and leave to go to dinner on our own without so much as an invite or question about their evening plans? Unthinkable, right? The height of bad manners, you say.
So, President Obama was entertaining Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House and it came time for the President to dine with the First Lady, so he just got up and left - leaving the Prime Minister just sitting there.
Isn't this the same President who was so worried about how the world would look at us? The same one who was so interested in global public opinion? The same one who though the US had suffered a black eye on the world stage?
Well, we've got another black eye to show for this, and we should demand a public apology from the President.
