Actions speak louder than words

How many times have we been in a situation when we've been talking with someone - a friend or a relative stranger - on the phone, or by email (posts counts, too), or in-person and they have shared a personal situation or tragedy with us and our response has been "I'll pray for you"?

We mean well - we mean very well. It's our way of telling them that we care, that they are loved, that we are concerned about their well-being and those they are worried about.

But which is easier - telling someone you'll pray for them or just doing it right there at the time? We often forget to do it if we put it off ‘til later.

Lets' start praying for someone right as the opportunity presents itself. You certainly can offer up a prayer without your friend knowing what you are asking or you can ask if you can pray with them as you lift them up aloud.
