Yesterday, Rep. Allen West (FL-22) announced that Lynn University in Boca Raton, here in Palm Beach County and inside his district, has been selected to host the last televised national Presidential candidate debate next October. The debate comes just 2 weeks before the election.
It will certainly spotlight the Lynn campus and South Florida as the nation turns its eyes and televisions to our area on that night.
Lynn was one of 12 sites in the running for the debates and the only Florida contender.
