Am I missing something or did we not vote for change? I mean change was inevitable with either candidate, but Obama was the one out promoting change.
So let's see what type of change we can look forward to.
Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State - seems to me she's been in the White House and a part of the administration before. Well, that's certainly a change - bringing in someone from the outside.
BTW, as Secretary of State, do you realize that Hillary in 4th in line to be president after Biden, Pelosi, and Reid?
Also, since 1980 - or since the "Y" generation began - there has been a Bush or Clinton continuously in the White House or part of the administration. That remains unchanged.
Bill Richardson as Secretary of Commerce. He was part of the Clinton Cabinet. That definitely is bringing in new talent.
Rahm Emanuel as Chief of Staff. He was part of the Clinton White House.
Other Clinton and even Carter advisors and staff have been part of the Transition Team.
Throughout the campaign, Obama kept accusing McCain of just being a third term for Bush. Are we not seeing the 3rd term for Bill Clinton?
I don't think this was the kind of change Americans voted for.
