Why is it when you break a glass or a light bulb - can you believe I did both this morning - that it is nearly impossible to pick up all the glass? Where does it all come from? Pick up the large, obvious pieces. Sweep. Vacuum. Mop. Repeat. There are still pieces of glass remaining - sometimes several feet from the impact site.
Sometimes a piece will be found days or even weeks later - usually when it is stepped on.
Just one of life's mysteries.
