It's a good thing May is a long month with 31 days. It'll take all that time to accomplish the racing calendar.
Tomorrow is the first leg of the Triple Crown, with the 135th running of the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs in Louisville.
Then 2 weeks later, on May 16th is the Preakness Stakes at the Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore.
This is auto racing month at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, with Pole Day on May 9th and the Indianapolis 500 on May 24th - and many other activities in between.
Then in Charlotte at the Lowe's Motor Speedway, the longest NASCAR race of the year - the Coca-Cola 600 - is also set for May 24th. It is preceeded the weekend before with the All-Star Race on the 16th.
This is not counting the other races that are occurring.
This is going to be one busy month.
