That little difference can make all the difference

I'm sure by now that if you're following the Olympics, you know that Michael Phelps tied Mark Spitz' historic performance and won his 7th gold medal in a single Olympic games. What is amazing is that he won by just 0.01 seconds. That's 1/100th of a second!

Think about that - with the slimmest of margins, there is no room for error. Yet his training prepared him to accomplish this.

In the interview after the race, Spitz was extremely eloquent, and I was impressed with what he had to say.

So. the next time we think that one sheet of paper, or a fraction or an inch, a few minutes here-or-there may not matter - it may make the difference between making a sale and having the buyer go someplace else.
