Have you ever gone to a restaurant or fast food place - or maybe it's even happened at home - and you picked up the wrong beverage glass? You were expecting to drink what you were expecting to drink and wow - it was something else entirely. Now you had a whole mouth full of it and didn't know whether to go ahead and swallow it or spit it out - or hold it.
I like unsweetened ice tea and one of my sons like sweet tea, the other Dr. Pepper. Ever take a big gulp of Dr. Pepper or sweet tea when you thought it was unsweetened ice tea? I don't recommend it.
I have a Keurig coffee maker (the one-cup-at-a-time, K-cup) here at the office, and I was making a cup of what I thought was cinnamon coffee, only to discover as I almost took a gig drink that I had made hot chocolate by mistake. They have similarly colored labels and were next to each other on my storage carousel. I'm not opposed to hot chocolate - it just wasn't what I was expecting.
Life is full of surprises - some are easier to deal with than others.
